Now Booking More Commercial Property Upkeep Across the Farmington Valley
We've expanded our commercial handyman scheduling for offices and retail spaces across Avon, Simsbury, and Farmington. Here's what recurring upkeep now covers.
Over the past two years we’ve quietly built a commercial side of the business alongside our residential work. As of June 2026 we’re formally expanding scheduling for property managers and small business owners across Avon, Simsbury, Farmington, and the wider Farmington Valley. Here’s what’s new and what to expect.
What changed
We now have dedicated after-hours capacity for offices, retail spaces, and multi-tenant residential common areas — the properties where work has to happen before opening, after closing, or on weekends. That means we can commit to recurring maintenance contracts and same-week response for one-off punch-list items without pushing residential jobs later.
Insurance coverage is unchanged (general liability and workers comp), and we can add your property or management company as additional insured on request. Certificates typically go out the same day.
What recurring commercial upkeep now covers
For property managers signing up for a monthly or quarterly punch-list visit, a typical scope includes:
- Interior drywall touch-ups and paint repairs
- Door alignment, hinge repair, weatherstripping, and hardware fixes
- Ceiling tile replacements and light fixture reseating
- Exterior trim and siding repair
- Gutter clearing (seasonal, tied into our fall/spring residential runs)
- Small carpentry — shelving repairs, custom built-ins for offices, cabinet work
- Furniture assembly and reconfiguration
- Access control hardware, wall-mounted equipment, and signage
We build a punch list on the first walk, agree on priorities, and knock out the top items on the same visit whenever the scope fits. Anything larger gets quoted and scheduled separately.
Why property managers use one vendor across trades
One insurance certificate on file. One point of contact. One consolidated invoice per month. Vetting five specialty vendors for the same building costs more time than the price difference ever saves.
Pricing structure
| Engagement type | Typical scope | Billing |
|---|---|---|
| One-off repair | Single trade, 1–4 hours | Time-and-materials |
| Punch-list visit | Multi-trade, half-day | Flat rate after walk |
| Monthly maintenance | Recurring, 2–4 hours per visit | Flat monthly retainer |
| Larger project | Fit-out repair, tenant improvement | Written flat-rate quote |
If you’re a property manager or small business owner in Avon, Simsbury, Farmington, or nearby and you’d like a walk-through, our insured handyman in West Hartford is happy to come out at no cost, build a punch list, and quote a fair scope.
