1. Agreement to terms

By using this website or hiring Handy Man West Hartford to perform work at your home or business, you agree to these Terms of Service and all applicable Connecticut and federal laws.

2. Services we provide

Handy Man West Hartford is a Connecticut-licensed home improvement contractor based in West Hartford. We provide residential and commercial handyman services including:

  • Carpentry and woodwork (custom shelving, trim, exterior stairs, wood rot repair)
  • Deck repair and maintenance
  • Interior and exterior door installation and repair
  • Drywall repair, patching, and installation
  • Exterior maintenance, power washing, and gutter cleaning
  • Flooring installation and repair
  • Assembly, TV mounting, and garbage disposal install/repair
  • Commercial property upkeep

3. Estimates, pricing, and payment

Most jobs are quoted on a time-and-materials basis or as a project-based flat rate after an evaluation. All quotes are in US Dollars ($) and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise noted. Payment terms are confirmed in writing at the time of booking. We accept cash, credit card, and check.

4. Scheduling and cancellations

We do our best to arrive on time and give advance notice of any schedule changes. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours notice. Same-day cancellations may be subject to a small trip fee to cover materials and technician time already committed.

5. Access to the property

You confirm that you own the property or have permission to authorize work at the address you provide. You'll give our team safe access to the work area and disclose any known hazards (asbestos, lead paint, live electrical) before we start.

6. Warranty and satisfaction

We stand behind our workmanship. If you're not satisfied with a repair we performed, contact us within seven days of completion and we'll return to address it. Manufacturer warranties on materials we install are governed by the manufacturer's terms.

7. Insurance and licensing

Handy Man West Hartford is fully insured (general liability and workers compensation) and holds a Connecticut Home Improvement Contractor License. We're BBB Accredited with an A+ rating. Copies of insurance certificates are available on request.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Connecticut law, Handy Man West Hartford is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific job in question.

9. Website content and intellectual property

All content on this website — text, photos, layout, and code — is the property of Handy Man West Hartford unless otherwise credited. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish it without written permission.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hartford County, Connecticut.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service occasionally. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site or our services after changes means you accept the updated terms.
